“berühren[d]” exhibition at the Riesa efau in Dresden What happens when you don’t just look at art—from a distance—but actually touch it? And conversely, when art touches you… in the truest sense of the word. The exhibition “berühren[d]” shows that art connects bodies, feelings, and thoughts, and how art touches us. Visual art and performances merge—the exhibition becomes a place where people share experiences together.

“Art can be a counterpoint to loneliness, control, and digital coldness. It shows that understanding often only arises when people are truly present, engage, and connect with one another.”

Performance workshop with set designer Katharina Lewonig, Dresden. “A playful approach to exploring color, form, and movement requires imagination and an open mind. Encouraging this process in young people and presenting it in a public performance means engaging in a game, regardless of the outcome.” (Katharina Lewonig)
